NEW PATTERN: Helm Cowl

My newest pattern is now live on Ravelry and in my Etsy Shop!

This cowl is worked in the round to create a tube, twisted once and then grafted together using kitchener stitch. Half the cowl showcases a triangular colourwork motif while the other displays eye-catching stripes.

Le Gros Lambswool by Biches and Bûches is simply fabulous to work with. Its super wooly and cozy and provides excellent warmth and stitch definition. I used the Medium Grey and Dark Blue for my sample.

I lucked out when getting the photos done of this cowl - we were having a family dinner and somehow I was able to get both my husband John and my Dad to pose wearing the cowl! I was super excited to be able to show you how versatile this design is and how great it looks on various people.

I hope you all enjoy this one as much as me. It was my first cowl knit in this way and it wont be my last. The double layer is so cozy and the twist makes it flattering around your face. I have plans for a fall one! Stay tuned.

Happy Making,

Ashley
