Over the summer I had the opportunity to work with the KnitCrate team to design a sock pattern for their August Sock Kit. Meet Neon Rays - a great cuff down ankle sock, with the yarn held double this is a quick knit.
The yarn I used was the soft and sturdy Audine Wools Superwash Sock. Audine Wools Superwash Sock is a 80/20 blend of Superwash Merino Wool and Nylon, with 399 yards per skein.
Pattern Details:
Knit from the cuff down with the yarn held doubled, these anklets have columns of garter stitch along the foot in this quick knit sock.
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) dpns or circular needle, 40” (101 cm)
Yarn Needed: 230 (260, 290, 330, 370) yards used / 1 skein needed for each size
Colorway: Alert
Notions: stitch markers (2), tapestry needle
Sizes: A (B, C, D, E)
To Fit Ankle/Foot Circumference: 7 (8, 9, 10, 11)” / 18 (20, 23, 25, 28) cm
Finished Measurements:
Foot Circumference: 6.5 (7.5, 8, 8.5, 9.5)” / 17 (19, 20, 21, 24) cm
Leg height: 1” / 2.5 cm
